1 leg washed and drained
125g butter
¼ cup diced pecan nuts
¼ cup diced almonds
¼ cup coconut
1 small nestle cream
¼ cup fried onions crushed
¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon saffron added to milk
A little egg yellow colouring
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons lemon 🍋 juice
1 teaspoon ginger garlic
1 teaspoon chilli 🌶 garlic paste
1 teaspoon dhana (coriander powder)
1 teaspoon cumin powder
2 tablespoons tomato puree
A sprinkling of freshly ground black pepper
Mix all the above ingredients to make a paste.
Pierce the leg in many places. Then cover with paste making sure the masala penentrates the holes. Allow to marinate overnight.
Cook in butter on low heat 🔥 until meat is tender. Add water as necessary.
Serve with potatoes. 💟
