INGREDIENTS

750gr chicken fillet, washed and cut into cubes or strips.
1onion finely sliced
½ teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin)
2 cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon chilli powder or to taste
2 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
1 tablespoon ginger garlic masala
2 tomatoes, liquidised
1 tin coconut milk
Chopped dhania (coriander)
METHOD
Braise onion with Jeeru (Cumin), cardamom pods and cinnamon sticks untill golden.
Add in chicken with spices. Braise nicely till dry and chicken is cooked.
Then add liquidised tomato.
Cook untill thick.Lastly add coconut milk and simmer until sauce thickens.
It must be a thick curry NOT a soup.
Garnish with chopped dhania (coriander). Serve on a bed of spaghetti with rest of the condiments.
Condiments:
Fried pur spiced with Aromat (a South African Spice) and chilli powder.
Chopped onion and tomato katchoomer mixed with salt, vinegar and chopped dhania (coriander).
Tamarind sauce:
Soak tamarind in hot water. Squeeze pulp through a sieve and mix in some sugar to make it sweet sour.
*You can use bone meat if you prefer, cut into small pieces
