INGREDIENTS
125g butter
2/3 cup castor sugar
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Flour as needed
METHOD
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth then fold in the baking powder, nuts and enough flour to make a soft dough. Shape into crescents, place on baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes until light brown. When cooled roll in icing sugar or castor sugar.
