INGREDIENTS
125g butter
½ cup golden syrup
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
3 teaspoon ginger powder
1 egg
1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 ¼ teaspoon bicarb
Flour as needed
METHOD
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy then beat in the egg and golden syrup. Fold in the rest of the ingredients to make a soft dough. Make balls, place on baking tray and bake for about 10 minutes at 170.
