PUMPKIN BHATURAS (SCONES)

Pumpkin scones are delicious on their own or over any saucy curry such as kebaabs,chicken curry or fish curry
*I cooked over a 3 bean curry
1 cup cooked pumpkin
1 beaten egg
One third cup milk
3 tablespoon margarine
1 and half cups flour
Half cup mealie meal
1 teaspoon green chilli
Quater teaspoon pepper
Half teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon baking powder
Sift dry ingredients
Rub in butter
Add pumpkin,milk and egg and make a soft smooth dough
Roll out dough on a floured surface to two finger thickness
Cut in rounds and place over gravy close to each other to form a cover
Bake in a medium oven for 30 minutes
There should be lots of gravy
