1 litre milk
4tbp milk powder
2 cups grated carrots
3/4cup basmati rice soaked in water for an hour
1 1/2cup sugar
½ tps cardamom powder
20 Almond peel and chop
5tbp ghee (Clarified butter)
Method...
Drain water from rice and blend just for two seconds ( we need the rice to be broken in 1,2).
Boil milk and add rice cook for 30mins..Keep stirring add milk powder, carrot ,sugar and cardamom powder..Cook further more for 15 minutes.in separate small pan heat ghee (Clarified butter) add almond stir till golden and pour ghee (Clarified butter) over kheer.
