1 chicken (disjointed),
½ teaspoon salt,
Pinch turmeric powder,
1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder,
1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper,
1 tablespoon crushed garlic,
3-5 tablespoon jalapeno sauce (brand of choice),
2 tablespoon lemon juice,
1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)/butter,
1⁄4 - 1⁄2 cup plain smooth yoghurt.
Heat ghee (Clarified butter), add garlic, saute for a minute, then add sauce, lemon and spices, mix. Add in chicken and coat well. Cook until no water remains, then add in yoghurt. Cook till all liquid reduced and sauce thickens. Place under oven grill and redden. Serve with garlic loaf and chips.
If you would like to make the dish with texture, use less jalapeno sauce, use julienned deseeded jalapeno and cubes of feta.
