RUHANA EBRAHIM'S RECIPES

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:
3 sweet palermo peppers
2 tablespoon oil
200g beef mince
1 teaspoon ground red chillies
1 tablespoon garlic
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon brown vinegar
1⁄2 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
Pinch turmeric powder
1⁄4 cup marinara sauce
1⁄4 cup cream cheese
Grated mozzarella cheese
Italian herbs


METHOD

Slit peppers lengthwise. Deseed and rinse. You will have 6 pieces.
Heat oil, add garlic, chillies, spices and vinegar. Add in mince, mix well. Cook till no water remains, add sauce. Cook till thickened.
Spoon cream cheese into peppers.
Spoon over mince.
Sprinkle cheese and herbs.
Place in oven at 180 deg and bake till peppers are tender.
