RUHANA EBRAHIM'S RECIPES

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:
400g roll today puff pastry
Flour
500g beef/mutton mince
1 onion sliced
2 tablespoon oil
1 piece taj
1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) seeds
1⁄2 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon brown vinegar
Grated gouda cheese

METHOD


Braise onion in oil with Jeeru (Cumin) and taj.
Add washed and drained mince with all other ingredients.
Cook till done. Remove taj.
Remove plastic from pastry.
Cut into 8 even pieces.
Flour surface and roll into thin circles.
Heat tawa on med-low heat.
Place one circle on tawa.
Sprinkle cheese, spoon on mince, sprinkle more cheese and cover with another circle.
Cook pastry till done and crispy, then flip over and cook other side.
Serve hot with chutney.
