500g mince1 onion (sliced)1 piece taj1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder¼ teaspoon turmeric1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala2 large tomatoes (liquidized)250g pasta2 cups milk2 tablespoon butter2 tablespoon flourSalt and pepperGrated cheeseItalian mixed herbsMicro leaf herbs
Braise onion in oil with taj until golden. Add masala and spices and braise till fragrant. Add mince. Cook until no water remains then add tomatoes. Cook till tomato has reduced completely. Remove taj.
Boil pasta in salted water till al-dente and drain.
Heat milk and butter, whisk in flour. Whisk until thickened and smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.Mix pasta into sauce.
Spoon mince into an oven proof dish.Pour pasta over.Sprinkle cheese and italian herbs.Place in oven to melt cheese.Sprinkle over micro leaf herbs and serve.
