1 cup s.r. flour1 teaspoon saltpinch of black pepper or chilli powder1 cup cold water4 onionsextra flouroil for deep frying
Slice onions thickly & place in iced water till well chilled.Mix flour,salt & spice. Whisk in the water.Beat to a smooth batter.Drain onion rings.Dust rings with the extra flour. Dip in batter & deep-fry. Drain on absorbent paper.
