INGREDIENTS

Chicken aknee with coconut milk

1 chicken cut, wash and drained
1 medium onions
1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
2 teaspoon ginger garlic
1 teaspoon garlic paste
2 tomatoes
1 teaspoon ground jeeru (cumin)
green chillies
Fresh dhania (coriander)
1 teaspoon Soumph (Fennel)
1 ½ teaspoon dhana
¼ cup buttermilk
1 tin coconut milk /cream
¼ cup frozen mix veg
Elachie, cinnamon stick, pepper corns & cloves.


METHOD


Braise onion with whole spices in ghee (Clarified butter) /oil Liquidise chilli, ginger garlic, tomato, Soumph (Fennel), dhana jeeru (cumin), and dhania (coriander). Add chicken and Liquidise mixture to pot cook until chicken done 20 minutes. Add coconut milk, buttermilk and mixed veg. Add rice. Mix all the time, see it water sufficient . Once rice cooked Steam for 15 minutes
