½ cup yellow dhal ( makni ) ½ cup pink dhal ½ cup oil Boil together until soft. Beat with egg beater. Keep aside
¼ cup oil 2 medium onion chopped 1 teaspoon whole jeera Few Elachi (cardomom) pods & peppercorns 1 chicken cut, wash 2 tablespoon ginger garlic 1 teaspoon turmeric 2 teaspoon dhana jeera 2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon red chillie powder 1 teaspoon crushed dhana 1 grated medium tomatoe
Put oil in pot, add onions , jeera & peppercornd cook on medium heat till light brown Add chicken ginger garlic and spices. cook till water dries out. Mix all well and add tomatoe Cook till little dry Add boiled dhal and cook. When almost done add 2 teaspoon Methi (Fenugreek) ( achaar masala) & simmer. Garnish with fresh green chopped dhania (coriander) & spring onions.
