Chhole Aaloo (potato) Puri

Take 1 cup chickpeas. Soak chickpeas in water 7-8 hours. Wash and boil with 3 cups water,salt,ginger,garlic,haldi& 1-2 bay leaves. Now take oil in other pan add Jeeru (Cumin) 1⁄2 teaspoon, 2 stick cinnamons,2 slits green chilies and 1 medium size onion paste. Cook till onion goes lightly browned. Now add 3 boil and grated tomatoes. Now add 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder,1⁄2 teaspoon haldi,1⁄2 teaspoon coriander powder,1⁄2 teaspoon Garam masala,1 1⁄2 teaspoon Chana masala or chhole masala powder,1⁄4 teaspoon chat masala & salt to taste now add some water and cook for 10 minutues.now add boiled and chopped potatoes and boiled chickpeas. Mix well cook another 5 minutues then add coriander leaves and serve with puri.
