NAEEMA MIA 'S RECIPES

INGREDIENTS

Semolina biscuits

250g butter
½ cup castor sugar
3 tablespoon oil
¼ cup semolina / tasty wheat
Approx 2 cups flour


METHOD

Cream butter and sugar until white, add oil and beat again.. Add semolina and enough flour to make soft dough.. Roll into small balls flatten with back of fork. Bake on 160 deg for 10-15 minutes.. Cool and roll in castor sugar

These sojee biscuits are delicious, melt in ur mouth with a little crisp center... A Family favourite with a cup of tea 👌

Awesome recipe - hubby loves it for dunking in his tea!
For the second half of the dough i added a bit of coconut as a vatiation👌

@HAWA DOKRAT - All purpose cake flour... U can use any brand I used snow flake in this recipe

Salaams. I've made this recipe before and they were perfect. But I'm trying it now using master craft margarine and they just keep spreading!! 😔 please advise if you know what I can do

@THAIRA - Wslm. I'm glad to hear that the first try was perfect... I only use pure butter for my biscuits no margerine. Maybe try it again with butter. Otherwise see if your dough is too soft add a little more flour to make it stiff but still soft or u can place the dough in the fridge for half an hour before baking. InshaAllah this works for you. Let me know if you come right.

@NAEEMA MIA - Salaams. Jazakallah so much for the help. I asked my dad and he said that i needed to cream all ingredients besides flour till it's light and fluffy. And then add the flour. Posted this here to help anyone else that this has happened to. :)
