RUHANA EBRAHIM'S RECIPES

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:
500g mutton/beef mince
1 piece taj
1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) seeds
1 onion (sliced)
1⁄2 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
Pinch turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon brown vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 large tomatoes (liquidized)
2 bunches Methi (Fenugreek) berji (large berji)
1 cup frozen peas


METHOD

Braise onion in oil with taj and Jeeru (Cumin) till golden.
Add spices, vinegar and chillies and braise for few seconds.
Add washed and drained mince with lemon.
Cook till no water remains and mince braised well.
Add tomatoes, Methi (Fenugreek) berji and peas.
Cook till tomato reduced.
Add 1 cup water and cook till no water remains.
Serve with roti/bread.
