RECIPE
Step 1
Braise 240 g Shrimp in 3 tablespoon oil
With ½ teaspoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon garlic
For 5 minutes till..drain
Keep the shrimps aside
Step 2
Steam few slices of green red yellow pepers
Handfull of baby brinjals cut in halves
Keep aside
Step 3
Liquidise 5 small tomatoes
With 1 small onion
1 ½ teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
1 ½ teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder
½ teaspoon garum masala
¼ teaspoon tumeric
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon sugar
¼ tin tomato puree
Liquidise all of the tomato onion mix
Step 4
In pot add
3- 4 tablespoon oil
Heat on stove
Add
Few curry leaves
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon jeera seeds
2 slit green chillies
3 sliced whole garlic
Braise till aroma arises
Now add few long slices of steamed green red yellow pepers (optional)
And handful of steamed baby brinjals cut in halves (optional)
Braise well
Add all the tomato and onion mix
Add ¼ cup water if u want a bit of gravy
cook
Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice or more if u like
Now add all the shrimp
And adjust your salt
Cook for 5 minutes till well blended in the tomato mix
Garnish with chopped mint and dhania (coriander) leaves
Serve with roti or rice
Enjoy.
