INGREDIENTS
1 packet ready mix Mumbai bhel ( indian spice shops or fordsburg )
note : if you dnt find this you can buy the stuff seperate and add ( add chaat masala if you adding sperate )
1 red onion finely chopped
1 tomato finesly chopped
cucumber finely chopped
½ freshly squeezed lemon
handful chopped dhania (coriander)
salt
red chili powder
1 packet Aamli soak in water
use the puri use a sift
in a pot:
1 tablespoon oil
¼ teaspoon ginger garlic
¼ teaspoon ground green chili
braise on low
add the pureed aamli along with water
add 1 teaspoon dhana powder
½ teaspoon jeera powder
salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar ( add more if too sour )
chili powder
simmer on low
remove fro heat cool down
this is freezer friendly - make a batch and freeze
METHOD
In a big bowl add all the chopped stuff
add the ready mumbai bhel mix
add chili powder and salt
add squeezed lemon
add aamli as desired ( depending on how sour you eat )
place in small bowls or make cones outta news paper ( proper india style )
INFO & TIPS
note : serve immedietely otherwise it will become soft n soggy
