INGREDIENTS
1 med size sliced cabbage1 kg cut up Chicken¼ cup oil1 tablespoon Ginger & Garlic 1 large onion chopped4 medium potatoes cut in halves and steamed½ cup peas steamed 2 medium chopped tomatoes*2 torn up red dry chillies*Few curry leaves*1 teaspoon whole jeera*2 tuj (cinnamon stick)*2 Elachi (cardomom) pods*1 teaspoon aniseed ( optional)¼ teaspoon tumeric (tumeric)2 teaspoon kashmiri chilli pwdr1 teaspoon durbs or bombay masala2 teaspoon dhana jeera powder1 ½ teaspoon salt
METHOD
Heat oil..add sliced onions add all ingredients marked with *Braise till aroma arises.now add the chicken braise till chicken turns colour add ginger garlic paste braise add all the dry spices with the chopped tomatoesCook well for 10 minutes add ½ water if need be Add in the Sliced Cabbagelet it get well infused with the spices..when almost soft add in the steamed potatoes and peas ..cook till all well blended.Garnish with chopped dhania (coriander)Enjoy best with rotis or rice
