2 large orange flesh sweet potatoes (cut into batons)½ stem curry leaves¼ teaspoon mustard seeds¼ teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) seeds¼ teaspoon kulunji (onion) seeds¼ teaspoon tal (sesame seeds) seeds2 tablespoon oil1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder1 teaspoon chilli powder1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric powder
METHODTemper all seeds with leaves in oil.Toss sweet potato in spices and add to hot oil. Add water as needed to cook till tender, then crisp up. Serve as a side or as is in roti/roll with tomato/aamli sauce.
