Ingredients: 1kg chicken wings with skin on ½ cup self raising flour Pinch salt Pinch pepper Oil for frying
Sauce- ¼ cup soy sauce ¼ cup water 1 tablespoon maizena (corn flour) 4 tablespoon honey 2 tablespoon vinegar ¼ cup crushed pineapple 2 tablespoon pineapple juice 1 teaspoon red chilli paste 1 crushed garlic ½ teaspoon ginger paste 2 tablespoon Bbq sauce 1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) powder ½ teaspoon salt ½ crushed black pepper
Method: Sauce- Heat all ingredients on medium heat, bring to a boil and thicken.
Wings- Mix salt and pepper in flour. Heat oil to med-high heat. Dip wings in flour and fry wings till crispy. The wings do not have to be fully cooked through. Place in an oven proof dish. Pour sauce over and grill wings till slightly charred.
