Filling- 1 tablespoon oil 1 large onion (thickly sliced) 1 tablespoon crushed garlic ¼ teaspoon salt ½ green pepper (julienned) ½ red pepper (julienned) ½ yellow pepper (julienned) ½ cup grated white cheese of choice (optional)
Dry rub: 2 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon white pepper ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon dried oregano
Basting sauce: BBQ sauce of choice
Method: 1. Saute onion and peppers for 3min in oil. Leave aside. 2. Rub dry spice onto steak. 3. Place sauted veg onto steak, sprinkle cheese, and roll tight like a swiss roll. 4. Push skewers through. 5. Brown on both sides in frying pan with a drizzle of oil. 6. Remove skewers. 7. Brush with BBQ sauce. 8. Place in preheated oven at 180degC and bake for 10min. 9. Remove from oven and serve. 10. Slice into smaller pieces of desired.
