INGREDIENTS
1 Onion, chopped
4 cinamon pieces
4 cloves
4 Allspice
4 Cardomon pods
1 cup rice
1 teaspoon crushed Garlic
Pinch tumeric
1 tablespoon Aromat (a South African Spice)
4 cups boiled water
1 cup mixed veg
1 bunch dhania (coriander), chopped
METHOD
Braise onion with whole spices in
butter. Then add rice, garlic, tumeric,
Aromat (a South African Spice) and water. When water has
evaporated add mixed veg and stir
through. Towards end of cooking add
dhania (coriander) and mix in. Enjoy with roasts!
INFO & TIPS
Burns easily once dhania is added so
don't put it in too early.
