NB: I use both Mince and (Steak optional) 250g mince ½ teaspoon ginger garlic ½ teaspoon crushed chilli ½ teaspoon Dhana jeera Little whole jeera ½ teaspoon Salt ½ teaspoon turmeric Little mixed herbs ¼ crushed black pepper ¼ green chillies 2 tablespoon oil cook mince till dry tomato chutney
Add 1slice soaked bread squeeze out water Add ½ chopped onion (burn out water like u do for samoosa) Add to cooked mince Add green chopped dhania (coriander) Keep aside
FOR STEAK (Optional) 250g tenderised steak strips or cubed 1 teaspoon oil Cook with 1 teaspoon crushed red chilli Little salt 1 teaspoon vinegar Cook till soft Add dash of worcester sauce And 2 tablespoon tomato Sauce When done shred the steak like you would do for pies Add green dhania (coriander) Keep aside
Make mash by boiling 5-6 medium potatoes in salt when done mash add butter add milk dash of white pepper ,crushed red chilli..add green dhania (coriander) 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ cup flour Mix well Together to mash Keep aside
CHUTNEY Take 1 grated tomato Few slices of onion salt and chilli Cook with 1 teaspoon oil Keep aside
SAUCE Make white sauce With 2 tablespoon flour 1-4 white pepper 1 cup milk Add little cheese ½ teaspoon butter Bring to boil to thin sauce Add 1 beaten egg once cooled slightly
Fry slices of thinly spiced chilli salt brinjal rounds
LAYER in a Casserole or Tray Mash Then mince then few slices brinjal Grated some cheese Then add steaks Then sprinkle 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs Then mash Then rest of brinjal slices Then pour over white creamy cheesy sauce Grate more cheese Sprinkle poppy seeds Bake at 180* for 40 minutes Enioy
