2 ½ cups Klim milk powder
¾ cup milk
½ cup sugar
¼ cup ghee (Clarified butter)
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom (Elachi (cardomom))
almonds (sliced and coloured)
Grease a tray with butter or ghee (Clarified butter). Add lunch wrap onto the tray and set aside.
Add ghee (Clarified butter) into a non stick saucepan. Add milk and mix. Add the Klim powder and mix well. Add the sugar and cardamom and stir until the mixture moves away from the sides of the saucepan. This should take at least 10 minutes. Spread the mixture into the prepared tray. Use a spatula to flatten the mixture equally on all sides. Add the almonds and put into the fridge to settle. It takes approximately 15 minutes to cool off. Remove from the tray and cut into pieces of your choice. This is the quickest, smoothest and most delicious burfee ever.
