INGREDIENTS
30 fresh red chillies
10 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon whole jeeroo
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup vinegar
Liquidise the above.
1 tin tomato puree
1 bottle tomato sauce (750 ml)
1 bottle Mrs Ball's chutney (green lid)
quarter cup Methi (Fenugreek) masala
1 small tin apricot jam
Vagaar:
3 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon whole jeeroo
handful curry leaves
3 cloves garlic sliced
METHOD
Add liquidised ingredients to tomato
mixture. Heat oil. Add jeeroo, curry
leaves and garlic. Fry. Add
tomato/chilli mixture to vagaar and
allow to boil twice. Remove from heat.
cool, bottle and refrigerate.
Delicious!!
