Talk of the Town Chops

Ingredients:1kg loin /best end chops ¼ tin tomato puree ½ tablespoon red ginger garlic masala 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chilli powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo (coriander cumin) powder Pinch black pepper 2 tablespoon brown vinegar1 teaspoon mustard powder2 tablespoon butter
Sauce-3 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon crushed garlic¼ tin tomato puree 1 teaspoon rough red chillies 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method: 1. Marinate chops for an hour.2. Cook chops in butter with water as needed until tender.3. Once chops are tender, lay in an oven tray and prepare sauce.4. Heat butter, saute garlic, add puree and remainder ingredients and heat through. 5. Pour over chops, grill in oven for 10minutes till reddens.
Note: These chops are also ideal for braaing.
