INGREDIENTS
250ml cake flour
5ml baking powder
40ml water
1ml salt
25ml cocoa powder
¾ cup castor sugar
5ml vanilla
4 xl eggs
whipped cream
chocolate shavings
METHOD
Grease & line a swiss roll pan. Combine
flour, baking powder, salt & cocoa &
sift thrice.
Whisk eggs & sugar till thick & frothy.
Add water & vanilla. Fold in dry
ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake 12-15
minutes. Turn out onto a damp tea
towel.sprinkled with sugar. Roll up &
allow to cool completely. Unroll swiss
roll & spread with whipped cream;
sprinkle shavings over cream. Roll up.
Decorate top of cake with cream &
chocolate shavings.
