INGREDIENTS
1 chicken (disjointed)
1 large onions (chopped)
1 large tomatoes (grated/ground)
(Onions & tomatoes similar in size)
½ teaspoon Whole jeeroo
3 Lavang
3 Elachi (cardomom) pods
2 Cinnnamon sticks
2 tablespoon Red Ginger/garlic masala
¼ teaspoon Dhana/jeeroo
Ground green chillies to taste
Salt to taste
ghee (Clarified butter)/oil
METHOD
Method:-
In a pot add ghee (Clarified butter)/oil & all the whole spices.Braise onions until golden brown than add the red ginger garlic masala, green ground chillies, dhana/jeeroo & salt, braise for 1-2 minutes add ½ water & let it cook until the water reduces, add chicken & tomatoes @ the same time & cook until done.
Garnish with fresh dhana.
Serve with roti or tandoori naan
