INGREDIENTS
12 king prawns deveined ,leave the shells on
4 tablespoon butter,
100g butter,
2 tablespoon garlic paste,
2 teaspoon chilli powder,
2 tablespoon vinegar,
salt to taste,
½ cup tomato ketchup
METHOD
place the prawns in a pot with the 4 tablespoon of
butter and cook on very high heat , till the
prawns are pink and cooked through. also all the
water released should evaporate.
in a seperate pot add the 100g butter and the
garlic paste too. cook till the garlic is pink
and then add the chilli powder,vinegar,salt and
ketchup. cook on low till well combined and you
can see the oil released. pour over the prawns
and cook on low heat till the paste covers the
prawns completely and is nice and red in colour. if
u feel the paste has dried up alot and you are
unable to coat the prawns well , then add a few
tablespoons of hot water . garnish with lemon or
lime wedges and serve with fries and fried mixed
veg rice.
