Kebab ingredients: -½ kg chicken mince -¾ teaspoon salt -Green chilli to taste -¾ teaspoon dhana jeeru (cumin) powder -3 baby onions (peeled and finely grated) -1 teaspoon crushed garlic -½ teaspoon crushed ginger -¼ cup finely chopped fresh green dhania (coriander)
Other ingredients: -ASDA sweet chilli soft cheese (or any soft cheese available in your country) Freeze then cut in cubes -fry light -2 tblspns oil
1.) mix all kebab ingredients together till well combined. 2.)rub oil on the palm of your hands so the mince mixture doesnt stick... Place 1 tablespoon of kebab mixture on the palm on your hand and flatten, place a cube of cheese on this then close and roll into a ball. Repeat with the rest of kebab mixture and cheese. 3.)heat a nonstick pan,spray frylight and place kebabs in the pan, add ¼ cup boiled water, cover with lid and steam on medium heat till kebabs are cooked through. Brown on high heat till golden brown and serve with salad and/or chips.
INFO & TIPS
-These kebabs CAN'T be frozen raw but CAN once cooked.
-leftover cooked kebabs can be deep fried in a batter (made with gram flour,salt,water and baking powder) and served with a minty green chutney as a savoury.
