2 cups flour2 teaspoon baking powder2 tablespoon melted butter or ghee (Clarified butter)Rub togetherMake a soft dough with +-1 ¼ cup ice water mixed with ½ teaspoon lemon juice,anf few drops of rose essenceRoll out 6 - 8 discs Smear each disc with melted ghee (Clarified butter) or butter dust with mazina (corn flour)As you pile each one on top of each other the last and top disc should be plainNow roll it into One large rectangle or roundNow smear the edges of this with rose water (so it don't open )And smear the whole large rectangle or round with melted ghee (Clarified butter) or butterAnd lightly dust again with mazina (corn flour)Roll up tightly like a Swiss RollPut rose water to seal..Cut 2-3 cm widthRoll it so that the layers are visible like a rose (also if you want layers are on sides)Fry in medium hot oil till deep creamyDrizzle syrup over or ( pink Rose syrup the one you use for milk shakes) and garnish with tinted coconut or almondsAnother variation to color a little dough pink or green roll out 2 rotiAnd alternate this with your layeringIt comes out lovely Swiss roll layers with two tone Syrup2 cups sugar2 cups water or rose waterRose essenceCinamon stick is optional Syrup must not be thick Enjoy
