-ready made salad of your choice
(I use mixed lettuce leaves OR bistro mix)
-cherry tomatoes(cut in half)
-red onion slices
*Make a batter with:
-chana flour OR plain flour OR self-raising flour
- cold water
-roasted almonds and sesame seeds seasoned with salt and chilli powder
1.)first layer :
place the ready bought salad leaves and cherry tomatoes,cucumbers,red onions and julienne carrots on a platter.
2.)second layer :
-dip aubergine slices in batter and fry in med. Hot oil till golden brown, leave to cool then place on top of the salad.
3.)third layer (optional) :
Top the aubergines with dollops of sourcream.
4.)fourth layer (optional) :
Sprinkle the roasted almond and sesame mixture.
