Chicken tikka are marinated pieces of boneless chicken on a skewer.
Boneless chicken, Yogurt, Red chili, Salt, Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Lemon juice
Pour the spice mix into a large bowl then add yogurt and mix. At this point add the chicken pieces and mix well.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2- 3 hours. For best results allow to marinate overnight.
Thread the chicken onto skewers and keep ready for cooking.
Preheat your oven or grill to medium-high.
Place the skewers on the grill or in your oven with a tray underneath to catch drippings.
Cook until the chicken is browned on all sides and tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
You can remove from skewers and put the chicken on a plate or leave on the skewers. The choice is yours.
Serve with warm pitta bread and salad.
