3 to 4 potatoes slices haldi salt water 1 onion chopped fine 1 teaspoon ginger garlic ½ teaspoon ground green chili 1 teaspoon Rye (black seed) seeds oil 1 ½ teaspoon dhana powder 1 teaspoon jeera powder salt chili powder lemon juice sugar
Add some water to a pot/pan.Add haldi and potatoes.Cook till half way or almost done and remove from water.Add oil to the pan, heat this up Add the Rye (black seed) seeds and wait for it to pop, now add the onions allow to soften.Add ginger,garlic and green chili braise, add potatoes.Add all the spices, give it a toss and cook on low until potatoes soft. Add the lemon juice and sugar( should be sweet and sour ) I added approximately 1 tablespoon sugar and a good amount of lemon.
