INGREDIENTS
2 cups self rising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon castor sugar
Pinch of salt
¼ cup butter/margarine
¼ cup cheddar cheese
3 tablespoon parsley
½ cup onion
½ cup tomato
¼ cup green pepper
1 egg
4/5 cup milk or fresh cream or orley whip dessert crème
METHOD
Sieve self rising flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together.
Rub in butter or margarine to resemble crumbs. Add grated cheese
and vegetables and mix well. Beat egg and milk together and add dry
ingredients to make a soft dough. Place spoonfuls of mixture onto
a greased baking tray or in muffin pan. Brush with beaten egg. Bake
at 180 C for +- 15 minutes until golden brown.
