INGREDIENTS
4 cups self raising flour
2 tspns baking powder
150g soft butter
½ cup mixed fruit
¼ teaspoon salt
6 tblspns castor sugar
2 eggs
250ml maas (sour milk)
METHOD
Mix all dry ingredients & sift twice. Rub in butter until it resembles bread crumbs. Add fruit mix. Mix egg & maas together & make a nice, soft dough. Pat down, cut & shape. Brush with egg & bake on 180 for 15-20 minutes until nice & golden.
