INGREDIENTS
1kg cubed steak (wash and soak in vinegar- tenderises the steak)
2 tomatoes - liquidize with a chopped dhania (coriander)
1 teaspoon tomatoe paste
3 curry spoons Worcester sauce
1 teaspoon mustard sauce
1 tabelspoon mochachos/ calistos sauce (mild or medium)
I heaped teaspoon garlic ginger
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)
1 teaspoon haldi
1 teaspoon jeera
2 teaspoon dhana
2 teaspoon salt (or as needed)
2 teaspoon chilli powder ( depending on how spicy you want it)
1 tableapoon vinegar
1 tabelspoon lemon juice
METHOD
Wash and soak steak in a litte vinegar.
Liquidize tomatoe with a little chopped dhania (coriander). Throw all the spices and sauces into the tomatoe mixture.
In a pot, heat oil and ghee (Clarified butter). Throw tomatoe in with spices and let it braise. Once braised, throw steak in and let it cook.
Throw water over and cook steak on slow until soft.
Once cooked, garnish with fresh dhania (coriander) and green peppers.
INFO & TIPS
Serving suggestion: You can add fried polony, sausages, chips and viennas once steak is cooked.
