Cheddarmelt BBQ steak Pic&Recipe Credit: @Juwariyyah_tar Marinate your steak in: Salt PepperChilli powderCrushed red chillies Garlic Vinegar Let it marinate for about 2 hours Add a little ghee (Clarified butter) to your pan and cook steak till water burns out. Heat a non stick pan, grease it with ghee (Clarified butter), when it's very hot then dip your steak in bbq sauce (I use spurs or steers barbecue sauce) and sizzle it on the pan. Mushroom sauce 5 to 6 tablespoon garlic butter 2 teaspoon crushed garlic1 tray sliced mushrooms ¼ teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon mixed herbs1 cup fresh cream 1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)1 chilli, finely chopped 2 tablespoon maizena (corn flour) +- half cup milk (add more if it needs to be thick Method Melt garlic butter with crushed garlic Add mushrooms, pepper, Aromat (a South African Spice), chilli and mixed herbs Cook mushrooms till water burns out Add in fresh creamMix the maizena (corn flour) in milk and add to sauce Stir sauce nicely till it thickens. You can freeze the left over sauce and use it another time. Make a batter with: 1 cup flour2 tablespoon maizena (corn flour) ½ teaspoon black pepper Aromat (a South African Spice) or any seasoning ½ teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon baking powder Make the batter with milk, it must not be very thick of weak. Should be a nice consistency. Preheat your oil.Dip onion rings in batter and deep fry till golden brown and crispy.
