INGREDIENTS
¼ cup flour ½ cup corn flour Salt Pepper ½ teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon zinger spice ¼ teaspoon cajun spice +- 1 cup of cold water
METHOD
Mix all ingredients together to form a smooth and slightly runny batter by gradually adding in water Start by trimming ¼ inch from one curved side to create flat surface for steady cutting.Place onion cut side down on board, then slice into rings Gently remove smaller rings from within the onion and lay aside Dip onion rings into batter and then cover in bread crumbs Fry in medium heated oil until golden brown and until the onion is no longer raw +- 5 minutes Serve immediately
