INGREDIENTS
1 cup rice with 2 teaspoon salt3 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) 1 med onion- grated 1 ½ teaspoon garlic paste 250g cubed fillet 1 teaspoon salt2 teaspoon crushes jeeru (cumin)1 teaspoon lemon pepper2 tablespoon lemon juice ½ cup water
Yoghurt Mixture:1 cup yoghurt1 beaten egg½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon saffron soaked in water1 tablespoon boiling water 1 cup grated cheese ½ cup red and green peppers sliced
METHOD
Recipe credit: unknown (as received) 1. Cook rice in salted water and drain2. Heat ghee (Clarified butter) and fry onions with garlic paste 3. Add chicken, spices and lemon juice for few minutes 4. Add water and cook until chicken is tender 5. Combine ingredients for the yoghurt mixture6. Add the yoghurt mixture to the chicken7. Layer: rice, chicken, cheese and peppers 8. Cover with foil and bake at 180
