INGREDIENTS
Rose and pistachio cake 💜💜By cooking and baking creations Plain cake by Fathima Essa Alli
Ingredients:250 g butter1 ½ cups castor sugar5 eggs2 teaspoon vanilla essence Pinch of salt3 cups flour4 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup milk¼ teaspoon rose essence ¼ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) essence/ powder
Method:1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.2. Add eggs 1 at a time and beat well.3. Add the rest of ingredients and beat for 1 minute.4. Pour into 4 small round greased pans.5. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes .6. Cool completely and sandwich with rose icing , sprinkle chopped pistachios in between layers ,ice top and sides and decorate with pistachios and dry rose petals .
Rose icing:250g margarine 4 cups icing sugar Pinch of salt2 teaspoon vanilla essence ½ teaspoon rose essence 1 tablespoon milk
