INGREDIENTS
¼ cup olive oil4 tablespoon butter2 eggs4 tablespoon sugar2 cups flour1 ½ teaspoon baking powder½ teaspoon bicarb½ teaspoon saltJuice of half lemon/ orange1 teaspoon cinnamon½ teaspoon caramel essence 1 cup buttermilk¼ cup milk
METHOD
Beat oul butter sugar and eggs, add caramel essence then all the dry ingredients beat and then add buttermilk and flour bake on 180Frosting:¼ lb butter, maple syrup and icing sugar optional fresh cream
INFO & TIPS
My frosting curdled so I cooked it up and made a glaze n sprinkled cinnamon and sugar
