RECIPE
MY STYLE(Half this recipe)
Boil 2 ¼ cups.of rice tint it light yellow color soft and fluffy drain
In a seperate pot make a syrupPrefer to make a seperate syrup So my style isAdd 1 ¾ cup sugar with rose essence and ½ cup water till its thick thickThen Keep aside
In pot melt 100g ghee (Clarified butter) or butter or less)Add +- ¾ cup sultanas or raisins or prunes 4-5 cloves3-4 cinnamon sticks4 Elachi (cardomom) podsBraiseAs the sultanas swell up add your rice 3Tblsp dessicated coconut (optional)Add little saffron essence or saffron strandsMix on low on stove topAdd 1 tablespoon crushed Elachi (cardomom)Now add little by little the syrup to the sweet taste you require
Then transfer to oven Let it steam for like 45minIt must not be dry and not too wet either
