1 cup small yellow dhall (lentils) ..soak for 4 hours
¼ cup oil 2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)1 teaspoon hole jeeru (cumin)1 green chillie 1 large onion chopped
1 teaspoon ginger garlic 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chilli powder ½ teaspoon tumeric powder ½ teaspoon dhana jeeru (cumin)½ teaspoon chicken spice
1 medium tomato grated1 cup boiling water
1. Fry onions, green chillie and jeeru (cumin) in oil and ghee (Clarified butter) until transparent or lightly brown. 2. Add ginger garlic, spices, and braise3. Add tomato, dhall (lentils) and water and stir4. Cook on medium/low heat for about 20 to 30 minutes until done.5. Add more water if it gets too dry.Garnish with dhania (coriander) and serve with roti (Tweaked the original recipe )HAPPY COOKING AND BAKING 💜💜
