Rose vermicelli parfait @mubina_18
rose flavored sweet vermicelli:-2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)2 cups vermicelli 2 cups milk½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder 2 tablespoon rose syrup Few drops of red color ¼ cup sugar ¼ cup finely chopped almonds readymade custard - 1 litter 6 tablespoon, chopped almonds 2-3 tablespoon chopped pistachios Rose buds for garnish
Rose flavored sweet vermicelli Heat ghee (Clarified butter) in a large pan over medium heat. Add broken vermicelli and roast till golden, stirring continuously.Pour in the milk and red food color and allow the vermicelli to cook, 4-5 minutes.Then add cardamom powder, rose syrup, sugar and chopped almonds. Stir well to incorporate. The sugar will melt and turn the vermicelli glossy. Remove from flame when this mixture is fairly dry. Cool slightly.
Parfait:- For each serving of parfait, add some of the meethi seviyan in a bowl or glass. Top with a big dollop of custard. Drizzle more rose syrup,chopped Almonds & pistachio on top and garnish with edible rose buds.This parfait can be served slightly warm, at room temperature. Enjoy 😊
NOTE:-Instead of using rose syrup, you can flavor the sweet vermicelli with saffron infused milk. pistachios as garnish.
