2 cups sugar3 cups water2 dessert spoons brown vinegar1 teaspoon golden syrupquarter teaspoon butter1 bottle red colouringboil on medium heat for about half an hour until big bubbles form, add half a teaspoon cream of tartar & boil for a little longer about 20 minutes...test in ice water till crack stage...coat apples quick ..Time varies on everyones stoves so you'll just have to watch it carefully!
