With Corn flake toppingCredit: Mummy 3 sliced bread crust removed smear Butter on both sides (Optional is to use the crust)Cut into cubesLine a deep casseroleWith the buttered breadSprinkle some cinnamon powder (if you prefer)In a seperate bowl add +- 1 ½ to 2 cups milkMake a paste with +- 1 tablespoon custard powder add to the milk mixtureTint it a bit with egg yellow colouring3 eggs well beaten add 1Tblsp vanilla essence+- ¾ cup sugarBeat wellAdd a good grating of fresh nutmeg Beat wellAddAdd 2 cinnamon sticks (powder if preferred)Pour the milk mixture into the deeplined bread casseroleTake a handful of cornflakes or more (it gives a yummy crunchy taste)Sprinkle on top of the puddingGrate more nutmeg on.top ( I also add more cinnamon powder)Add few cubes of butter (+-60g )On top of the puddingBake at 180* for +- 5OminTill the bread is soft and the butter juice is like a sugary liquid Yummy enjoyBest Served Warm Optional2-3 tablespoon dessicated coconutLittle chopped dates and chopped pecans can be addedAnd Or Serve with warm custard or fresh cream if you prefer coldYummy
