Plaited pie dough 📸salmah dendar 📝Ramadaan Delights2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 125g butter 1 egg¼ cup milk ¼ cup water Beaten egg Poppy seedsSift dry ingredients, rub in butter to form crumbs.Heat the milk and water until lukewarm , add in the egg and beat together.Pour the liquid into the dry ingredients to form a soft pliable dough.Roll the dough onto a floured surface.Place filling into the centre making slits on the 2 sides about 1 & ½ cm apart.Twist/pull strips one on top of the other to cross over the filling.Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with seeds. Bake in a moderate oven till golden brown.Slice and serve.Use any desired filling for this recipe.
