INGREDIENTS
2 tins of baked beans
1 medium onion - chopped
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcester Sauce
olive oil
1 tablespoon flour
ground chillies to taste
250ml cheddar and mozarella - grated and mixed
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180C.
Heat a pan on the stove and saute onion in olive
oil until it is cooked. Add the baked beans and
thyme and allow to warm through. Mix vinegar,
Worcester sauce, brown sugar and flour and stir
into the beans. Let the beans cook and add a
splash of water if it is too thick. Top with
grated cheese and baked for about ten minutes.
INFO & TIPS
You can also add 250gr of cut russians or polony
etc with the onions for a more fulfilling meal.
